David Goeckeler

David Goeckeler is Chief Executive Officer of Western Digital.
Prior to joining Western Digital, Goeckeler was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cisco’s Networking and Security Business, a $34 billion global technology franchise. A 19-year Cisco veteran, he led a team of more than 25,000 engineers and oversaw Cisco’s networking and security strategy and market acceleration, including development operations for the company's expansive technology portfolio and strategic acquisitions.
Previously, Goeckeler oversaw Cisco’s Security Business and was instrumental in defining Cisco’s threat-centric security strategy, transitioning the business to a software and recurring revenue-based model, and returning the business to share-gaining growth. Under his leadership, the Security Group also acquired and successfully integrated multiple companies, solidifying Cisco’s place as the largest IT Security vendor in the industry.
Goeckeler holds bachelor’s degrees in computer science and mathematics from the University of Missouri at Columbia, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a master’s degree in business administration from both Columbia University and the University of California at Berkeley.
Goeckeler is widely recognized for his leadership and operational excellence. In 2012, he received Frost and Sullivan’s Excellence Award in Engineering Operations.
Robert Eulau

Robert Eulau is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Western Digital.
Eulau was most recently Chief Executive Officer at Sanmina Corporation where he previously served for eight years as Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Eulau held chief financial officer positions at Alien Technology Corporation and Rambus Incorporated, and held a number of financial leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Company.
Eulau earned a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance/Accounting) from The University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Pomona College.

Dr. Siva Sivaram

Dr. Siva Sivaram is President, Technology and Strategy, at Western Digital where he is responsible for the development of the corporate strategy and the technologies that fuel the company’s growth.
Sivaram has more than 35 years of experience in semiconductor technologies and manufacturing. He has held executive positions at Intel, Matrix Semiconductor and at SanDisk after its acquisition of Matrix. Additionally, he was the founder and CEO of Twin Creeks Technologies, a solar panel and equipment company.
Sivaram has authored numerous technical papers and a textbook on chemical vapor deposition and holds several patents in semiconductor and solar technologies.
Sivaram serves on the board of directors of the Global Semiconductor Alliance and the US-India Business Council. He has been on the board of directors and advised several start-up firms and was entrepreneur-in-residence at Crosslink Capital and XSeed Capital.
He also serves on the board of Akshaya Patra, the world’s largest NGO dedicated to feeding school children.
Sivaram received his Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Materials Science from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has been nominated to its Board of Trustees. Additionally, he is a Distinguished Alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchi, India, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Lori S. Sundberg

Lori Sundberg is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Western Digital Corporation, leading key global human resources initiatives and people strategies.
Sundberg has more than 20 years of experience in developing and aligning HR strategy with business needs. She has led large corporate initiatives focused on culture, organization effectiveness, leadership development, labor & employee relations, talent & performance management, workforce planning, recruiting, compensation, HR systems, and benefits.
Before joining Western Digital, she served as SVP, Global Human Resources at Jacobs, a global provider of technical, professional and construction services. Sundberg has also served as SVP, Human Resources and Ethics at Arizona Public Services Company, the largest electric utility in Arizona, and advanced through a series of HR leadership roles at American Express.
Sundberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University.

Before joining Western Digital, Hunkler served as chief operating officer of Nexperia Semiconductors, a global semiconductor manufacturer created after its divestiture from NXP Semiconductors. He also served as executive vice president, global operations of NXP Semiconductors, a global semiconductor manufacturer, as well as in senior leadership roles at Freescale Semiconductor, Motorola and SunEdison (formerly MEMC Electronic Materials).

Prior to joining Western Digital, Soderbery served as president of UpLift, Inc., a travel finance company. Soderbery previously served as senior vice president and general manager, enterprise products, and in other senior leadership roles at Cisco Systems. He also advanced through a series of leadership roles at Symantec Corporation, including senior vice president, storage and availability management group.
Soderbery also serves as a member of UpLift’s board of directors, an advisor to Rockwell Automation, Inc. and as managing member of Acclimate Ventures LLC, a consulting, advisory and investment firm.
Ashley Gorakhpurwalla

Ashley Gorakhpurwalla is Executive Vice President and General Manager, HDD business.
Prior to joining Western Digital, Gorakhpurwalla served as president and general manager of Servers and Infrastructure Systems at Dell EMC, where he led a $20 billion business that included the company's PowerEdge Server, Hyperconverged Infrastructure and Extreme Scale Infrastructure business units, as well as research and development for its Storage and Data Protection Platform.
With almost 30 years of technology industry experience, Gorakhpurwalla advanced through a series of engineering and business leadership roles at Dell Technologies that focused on complex data center infrastructure. Prior to leading Dell EMC's Server and Infrastructure Systems Business, he served as senior vice president of the company's PowerEdge engineering team.
Gorakhpurwalla holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University - Kingsville.
Michael C. Ray
Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer

Michael Ray is Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Western Digital. He is responsible for the company's worldwide legal, risk management, compliance and government relations functions.
Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel since October 2010. He has held a number of positions at Western Digital since joining the company in 2000, including Senior Counsel, Assistant General Counsel and Vice President, Legal Services.
Ray serves as a member of the company's executive management team and provides strategic advice to the team and the members of the company's Board of Directors. He oversees teams responsible for supporting the company's efforts to develop, manufacture, market and sell storage products globally through the company's independent subsidiaries. He also leads teams responsible for protecting the company's significant intellectual property, strengthening and defending the company's brands worldwide, and complying with regulatory and public-company obligations.
Prior to joining Western Digital, Ray was corporate counsel for Wynn's International, Inc., an NYSE-listed manufacturer of automotive parts and chemicals; served the U.S. District Court, Central District of California as judicial clerk; and practiced trial law, law and motion and labor/employment law at O'Melveny & Myers, LLP.
Ray holds a bachelor's degree, with honors, from Harvard College; and a law degree, with honors, from Harvard Law School. Ray has received numerous awards and citations, including being honored as the Orange County Business Journal's Public Company General Counsel of the Year for 2012.
Ray has served since 2001 as a director of Mercy House Transitional Living Center, based in Santa Ana, California, one of California's largest providers of services and housing for homeless men, women and children. He is also a director of the United Way of Orange County, and has co-chaired the Orange County United Way Tocqueville Society Bench & Bar affinity group since 2013.
